I'm having a problem with a P4015n keeping its preferences set. When I send a job to be printed the printer attention light blinks and says load prepunched letter tray 1. I hit ok twice and it prints. When I go into the printer preferences, settings are changed that I never changed. Under Paper/Quality Type is set to prepunched letter. Under Effects the % of Normal Size radio button is ticked and the size is set to 0. And under Finishing, Print On Both Sides (Manually) is checked. I'll change it all to the proper settings by going into printers and devices, right clicking the printer and clicking printer preferences. I'll print again and same thing, attention light blinks, load prepunched letter tray 1. So I go back in and check and my settings are still the same. So I go into printing preferences through the print option in the software I'm using and the settings are prepunched, 0%, both sides again. I set them properly and then it prints that time ok. But when I open a different file to print the settings are back to prepunched, 0%, both sides. And after a few days I'll check the printer preferences in printers and devices again and it too will be back to prepunched, 0%, both sides. This is all baffling to me and would like to figure out what is causing this. Any ideas?
