In the office, we have a number of HP printers. One of them is used for printing correspondence and mailing labels for letters. Until a few weeks ago it was working normally:
-when we want to print on an envelope, we inserted the envelope into the manual feed and it bypassed the two paper trays
-when we were printing all other documents, it pulled from the paper trays
Now, it continues to pull paper from the paper trays, even if an envelope is inserted into the manual feed. Inserting plain paper in the manual feed also does not result in the bypassing of the paper trays. In order to force the printer to use the manual feed, both paper trays have to be removed. It is not impossible, but is inconvenient given the volume of printing that is done between the users that share this particular printer.
I have checked the driver/settings and as far as I can tell nothing has changed since when it was working as expected.
