I have an HP CP4025dn printer connected to a wired network. I have two Win7 64-bit PC's on the network. One computer works perfect. The other computer, for some reason while printing, it only sends 128kb per second. If I cancel the print job and re try printing (sometimes need many cancels and re try), it sometimes works, and sends a 30mb print job in a few seconds. It usually doesn't work. I am not sure why. When I first got the printer, it worked perfectly fine. One weekend, I had the printer turned off, and it hasn't worked since on this one computer.
Things I have tried:
- Updated print drivers to latest.
- Updated firmware to latest.
- Reseted the printer to factory defaults.
- Changed the network switch.
- Changed network cable.
- Adjusted the link speed on the printer to 1000 from auto negotiate.
- Tried printing with the firewall turned off.
- Tried changing the homegroup settings and turned Windows management off.
I have no idea what else I can try.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can try to get this computer network link speed to be much better than 128kb per second? Most of my word document files are pretty large, lots of photos.
Thanks.
