The CD that came with the printer did not recognize Windows 7. This is astounding enough, but what followed was almost enough to put me off HP forever.
I found a CD for what looks like the right product, more or less, for Windows 7. But the web site will not accept my credit card, though I have quadruple-checked the numbers and the address and other sites take it just fine.
So, I thought, I'll call someone. Surely someone can take my credit card over the phone and send me the CD. But there's nowhere to call! There doesn't seem to be any way to get any help at all, even with an initial installation, without paying $99, which is ridiculous to get an installation CD.
Can anyone help me find somewhere to call that I can talk to and get some customer service? Or is HP too big to need to cater to customers any more?
