Everytime I try to print from my android samsung Tab S tablet or samsung S5 phone to my HP CP3505 printer I keep getting the following message, on the printer's control panel, "chosen personality not available".
It prints fine from a windows computer.
The printer's personality setting is on Auto.
I've installed the latest firmware on the printer.
Other forum topics about "chosen personality not available" suggest changing the driver but that doesn't seem possible in the HP Print Service Plugin on Android.
The problem seems to be on HP LaserJet printers but not the InkJet types. So I'm guessing the two printer families use different printer codes for printing.
Any help would be appreciated.
