We bought 5 of these printers last year, all of them are having this same problem.
The screen will say "Initializing" and it won't go away until you cycle the power. Then it will print what job you send to it, and then later when you go to print, it's at the "Initializing" screen again.
My users are getting fed up, we spent quite a bit of money on these, and they are all having the same problem.
Did a "Hard" reset, with and without cartridges.
Updated the firmware.
