Hey all,
Having a heck of a time getting quality color prints out of my HP CP5225dn printer (~2 months old).
I'm a graphic designer and I print from the latest suite of Adobe Creative Cloud products (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.), and whenever I try to print photos, it seems as if the yellow is completely dropped out. Straight colors and vector colors print fine, but something funky happens when photos are printed. Anyone else run into this and come up with a solution?
Tried every combination of color profiles / paper combinations / reset preferences & settings ... no luck.
Windows 8.1
HP Envy Phoenix
GB RAM
Intel Core i7-4770 CPU
NVIDIA GeForce GT 640
It's important to note that my monitors (HP Pavilion 25xi) are Spyder calibrated and that the same files, when output on different printers, print the colors as intended. I've had HP hardware support out to look at the printer and everything from a mechanical standpoint checks out. It has to be something software-related. Using HP Universal Print Driver PS for output. Have also tried printing to PCL version of printer without any luck.
Any insights will be greatly appreciated.
