Hello, All ideas are extremely welcome. I have a color laserjet 4600n that I am working on. It prints faded on the right side of the print but only when the doc is black. Examples: excel, word, pdf, any doc with true black. If I print black with a letter or cell with any color the entire page is perfect. I have tried the same doc with only black and i have the problem. The PQ TROUBLESHOOTING, configuration pages, all internal tests ok except engine test..... I power off the device and run many engine tests they print fine with and without the formatter, but once the client sends a job only in black the engine tests fail. I have replaced the ETB, BLACK TONER, DISABLED TONER, CLEANED BLACK AND ALL COLOR CONTACTS, DC CONTROLLLER, NVRAM INTIAL, COLD RESET, DC CONTROLLER COLOR CALIBRATION RESET. Tried different drivers, pcl6, pcl5, ps, even tried 4650 drivers. No firmware is available as they are using windows 7 64 bit. I am going for the high voltage power supply and the firmware dimm, next. LET THE COMMENTS BEGIN... THANKS...
