Hello everyone,
Recently our printer (LaserJet 400 M451dn) been exhibiting some most peculiar behavior. Yesterday a ticket for this printer was put on our helpdesk stating that for the last several weeks, the printer has sporatically been printing the same document over and over. The media specialist had also turned the printer off so that it couldnt waste more ink and paper.
Upon arriving at work this morning, I found a stack of papers at least an inch thick with a note from the media specialist saying that after school hours the printer had printed the same document for 2 hours and after it had stopped it was turned off. Over the night, the printer had turned itself back on and printed until it ran out of paper.
I've looked around and this problem is being difficult for me to find anything on. Any ideas would be very useful! Here's some more information that may help in your helping me.
The printer is a network printer that is deployed via group policy preferences.
